Things to Know About Pavilion Installations
Pavilions are very heavy. All of their weight is supported by upright posts—each of which must have a substantial load-bearing capability. Because of this, we highly recommend installing Sonotubes that are 16” in diameter and at least 4’ deep so they’re below the frost line. A concrete footing pad would be the minimum. We do NOT suggest placing a pavilion on pavers or a concrete patio.
Prep work for your new pavilion will not be completed by Backyard Sheds Co. We would be happy to provide you with contact information for local contractors to complete foundation prep work.
